SAME PRIVATE LINK. MORE POSSIBILITIES.

Let the moment
choose the format.

A portfolio at an opening. A proposal after a meeting. Instructions at the front desk. Share the file where the conversation happens.

APPLE WALLET

Keep it close.

Save a signed file pass on your iPhone. Show its QR code when you meet, or open the private link from the pass details. File availability can update right inside Wallet.

QR CODE

Scan it.

A clean QR code with the complete private file link. Save a high-resolution PNG or a crisp SVG for your own layouts. Recipients scan it with their camera and open the file in a browser.

PRINTABLE CARD

Hand it over.

Leave a proposal at the meeting. Put a portfolio beside your work. Print a ready-made card with the file name, expiry and QR code, and let the conversation keep moving.

Make the handoff
part of the moment.

No searching for an address. No spelling out a link. A quick scan takes the recipient to the download page, with your sharing rules still in place.

Make your first file card
YOUR LINK. YOUR RULES.

Easy to carry.
Still in your control.

A pass that follows the file.

Installed Wallet passes can refresh as availability, expiry or download limits change. Revoked or expired files stop granting new access, even if a device hasn’t received its pass update yet.

A private link deserves a private handoff.

The QR and pass contain the full link and its decryption key. Keep them with people you trust. Passwords, expiry and download limits still apply; printed copies don’t update.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS.

Before you
pass it on.

Are QR codes and Apple Wallet passes really free?+

Yes. Basic QR downloads, printable file cards and Apple Wallet passes are included for everyone. No account or subscription is required for a free transfer up to 100 MB. Larger transfers are available as a separate one-off purchase.

Does the recipient need an app?+

No File Link Pro app or account is required to download. Scanning the QR code opens the private link in a compatible browser. Adding a pass requires Apple Wallet on a supported Apple device.

Is the file stored inside Apple Wallet?+

No. Wallet stores a pass containing the private download link. The encrypted file stays in storage and is downloaded through File Link Pro. The pass does not extend the file’s expiry or remove its access controls.

What happens when a file expires or is revoked?+

The download link stops granting new access. Registered Wallet passes can refresh to show that the file is unavailable. Updates depend on Apple and the device’s connection; the download page always checks current access. A printed card keeps its original appearance.

How private is the QR code or pass?+

Both contain the complete private link, including its decryption key. Anyone with a copy has that key, subject to the file’s password, expiry and download limit. QR codes and printing happen in your browser. Creating an updating Wallet pass explicitly sends the key to File Link Pro’s signing service, which retains an encrypted copy for updates. Apple also processes the pass when you save it.

Can my own system create these?+

Pro includes API access to create transfers and signed Wallet passes, with optional custom sender names and accent colors. The API guide and OpenAPI reference document the flow. Your system can also generate QR codes directly from the complete private link.
